Feeling the Cancer Sun pull?

The Sun in Cancer is really turning the volume up on our home lives right now. I’ve been feeling so much more protective of my family this week, haven't you? With the Moon moving into Gemini, things feel a bit scattered, though. It’s a lot of emotional energy to hold when you just want to relax.

I’ve been checking the SkyToday app to keep an eye on these shifts, and the transit of Venus into Virgo has me thinking about how we show love in the little, practical ways. It’s not just about grand gestures; it’s about the laundry and the hot meals.

But here is what I’m curious about: I’ve heard some people talk about the idea of 'exaltation' where a planet is supposedly at its most powerful in a specific sign. It just doesn't sit right with my intuition. Why would a planet be 'happier' in a sign that doesn't share its elemental nature? It feels like we're ignoring the person’s actual chart just to follow a rigid rule book. If a planet is strong, isn't it strong because of how it supports our actual lives, rather than just where it’s sitting? I don't know, maybe I'm just being stubborn, but I struggle to see how a technical position overrides the real emotional reality of a person's experience. What do you think?
