Why we chase the fruit but ignore the root?
It’s July 19th, 2026. The Moon’s just slipped into Uttara Phalguni, sitting in Virgo. It’s a grounded energy, perfect for sorting through the debris of the last few weeks.
I’ve been watching the sky today. Jupiter is holding steady in Pushya, while Sun finishes up its time in Punarvasu. It feels like we’re constantly looking for the 'fix' in our charts. We track the transits like we’re checking a weather app, hoping to avoid the rain or catch a bit of sun.
But here’s the thing that’s been chewing at me: why do we focus so much on the results? We obsess over whether a planet is friendly or not. We treat our lives like a series of karmic debts to be settled at an ATM.
Is it possible that the suffering we see in these movements isn't just something to be corrected? Maybe it's just the texture of being alive. If we didn't have the friction of Saturn in Revati, would we even know we were moving?
I don’t think we’re here to 'solve' our charts. I think we’re just here to be the observer of them. If you could stop trying to patch the holes in your destiny for one day, what would you actually see?
I’m curious how you all handle this. Do you view your birth chart as a map to fix, or just a mirror you’re stuck looking into?
