Is the Dasha system actually predictive or just hindsight bias?
I've been looking at the Vimshottari Dasha system for years now.
We all know the math works perfectly. You can map out a life's trajectory based on the Moon's placement at birth. It’s logical. It’s consistent. But I’m starting to wonder if we’re just fitting data to suit the narrative after the fact.
When a client sits in front of me, I can point to a sub-period and explain why they lost their job or got that promotion. It hits the mark. Yet, if I try to forecast the same events for someone who hasn't lived them yet, the accuracy rate feels different.
Is it really predictive? Or are we just good at connecting dots that have already been drawn?
I’ve tried using Vyom to track these timing windows more objectively, removing the emotional weight of a consultation, and the data is cleaner. Still, the core question remains.
Are these planetary periods driving the bus, or are they just a scoreboard for things we've already decided to do?
I’d love to hear how you guys separate the noise from the actual signal.
