Is your Dasha failing you or are you misreading the transit?

I see so many people obsessing over their Vimshottari Dasha, waiting for a specific sub-period to fix their lives. They treat the Mahadasha like a static prison sentence. But let’s be real for a second.

If you're in a supposedly 'lucky' period but the current transit of Saturn in Pisces or Jupiter in Cancer is hitting your 8th or 12th house, what actually happens? Does the Dasha override the transit, or do they collide in a way we’re not tracking correctly?
