Finding Harmony in the May Heat
May is finally here, and with Venus shining bright in Taurus, it’s the perfect time to focus on how we nurture our bodies. Right now, the heat is rising, which tends to aggravate our Pitta dosha. That inner fire can sometimes make us feel a bit irritable or overly sharp with our loved ones.
To stay balanced, I’ve been swapping my usual spicy afternoon tea for a cooling rose-petal infusion or room-temperature coconut water. It’s a simple shift, but it really softens the edges of a long day.
It’s also crucial to keep your routine grounded. Since the Moon is currently in Capricorn, don't let your to-do list overwhelm your evening wind-down. Take time to massage your feet with a little sandalwood oil before bed; it pulls that excess heat right out of your system and helps you drift off peacefully.
