Grounding during the Cancer transit
Right now, we have a cluster of planets sitting in Cancer, specifically Mercury, Jupiter, and Venus. It's creating a heavy internal focus, and when the Moon hits Scorpio—as it is today in Vishakha nakshatra—things can feel mentally turbulent. You might be feeling a bit scattered or emotionally reactive.
To counter this, I don’t suggest vague rituals. I suggest a precise breath-work protocol. Focus on Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, for ten minutes at sunrise. It balances the ida and pingala nadis, which helps stabilize the mind when Mercury is sitting in an emotional water sign.
If you're tracking these placements against your own natal chart, you’ll see exactly where this mental friction is hitting you. I use the Vyom app to map these transits against my clients' charts to see if they're in a dasha that makes them extra sensitive to this transit. When your internal data is clear, the noise dies down.
Keep it simple. You don't need elaborate ceremonies. You just need a structured approach to calm the nervous system. Log your meditation times and notice the correlation with your productivity. It’s all just data, after all.
