Astrology Debate

Why keep ignoring the nodes?

The Sun is currently hitting its peak in Leo, and honestly, the energy for ambition is off the charts. We're in a perfect spot to drive our careers forward while Venus in Libra smooths out our professional networking. It's prime time for those of us who don't settle for second best. But here’s the thing that bugs me. We tropical astrologers treat the North Node and South Node as these secondary points of orientation, yet the ancient systems treat them like literal eclipsing monsters that define your entire trajectory. Why do we treat them like minor background noise in the Western charts when they carry so much weight? I’ve been keeping an eye on how these transits shift through SkyToday just to see if the alignment matches my personal wins. It’s hard to ignore that while we focus on planetary aspects, there’s an entire branch of thinking that says those nodes dictate your status more than any ruler of the house. Are we just being too arrogant to look at how they might actually shape our climb to the top?

Today, August 13, the Moon in Magha Nakshatra favors decisive action, but Mercury in Pushya suggests you should wait until tomorrow for final signatures. Aim for the 8:00 AM window if you want the luck of the number eight, just avoid starting anything major while Rahu is active.
