Is exaltation data-driven or just folklore?

I'm looking at the charts for June 19, 2026.

Jupiter is sitting in Cancer, its sign of exaltation, currently moving through Pushya. Mars is in Aries, also in its own sign, pushing hard in Krittika.

We usually treat 'exaltation' as an automatic win for a planet. But when I look at the raw data, it doesn't always translate to better outcomes in the real world.

Does a planet in exaltation actually function at a higher capacity, or are we just following an old rule set without verifying the output?

I’ve been tracking these patterns in Vyom to see if these high-status placements correlate with actual performance spikes or if it’s just noise.
