Is Pushya actually the kingmaker we think it is?
I’m looking at the chart for August 14, 2026. Jupiter and Mercury are sitting right there in Cancer, both comfortably placed in Pushya. We’re always told that Pushya is the most auspicious nakshatra for everything—starting businesses, new ventures, you name it.
But let’s be real for a second. When you look at the dasha sequences and the sheer intensity of Pushya, do we over-rely on this 'nourishing' reputation? It’s ruled by Saturn, yet we treat it like a golden ticket for growth without checking the actual house placement or the strength of the dispositor.
I’ve seen plenty of clients struggle through a 'favorable' Pushya transit because they didn’t account for the Saturnian requirement for discipline over simple luck. Are we using Pushya as a crutch to avoid doing the hard labor that Saturn actually demands? I’m curious if anyone else thinks we’ve sugarcoated the reality of this placement while ignoring the heavier work it forces upon us during its period. Let’s talk about whether the 'luck' of Pushya is just a delayed bill waiting to be paid.
