Is Rahu actually our best teacher?

I've been staring at my birth chart all morning, thinking about Rahu. We’re taught it’s the shadow, the point of insatiable hunger and endless craving. It’s the planet that pushes us off the ledge when we’re too comfortable.

But look at how it functions. It creates the obsession we need to actually move. Without that itch, would we ever leave our front doors?

I wonder, is the discomfort we feel during a Rahu dasha just the growing pain of finally becoming who we're meant to be? It’s not about the destruction of the ego so much as it is the forceful expansion of it.

I don’t buy the idea that it’s purely malefic. It’s more like a mirror that shows us exactly where we’re still lying to ourselves. It’s harsh, sure, but it’s the only thing that won’t let you settle for mediocrity.

When I track these shifts using VedKal to see where the day's energy actually lands, I find the toughest days are the ones where I learn the most.

What do you guys think? Is Rahu just the catalyst for a version of ourselves we’re too scared to meet? Or am I just looking for meaning in the static again? I’d love to hear your take on how you've handled its influence.

Rahu isn't a teacher; it’s an amplifier of your current obsessions. If you’re struggling to time its influence, check your current Vimshottari Dasha on the Vyom app to see exactly when these lessons hit hardest.

Magha’s energy is potent for grounding yourself, especially when you align your actions with ancestral strength. Check your personal chart on Vyom to see how this nakshatra impacts your standing. It's time to own your power.

Let's look at Magha, the star of ancestors and power. It's about honoring your roots to gain true authority, which you can track using your birth chart on Vyom.
