Is your free will just a delay in the inevitable?

Look at the sky today. Jupiter and Mercury are hanging out in Cancer, while Saturn’s doing its slow work in Pisces. It’s a heavy mix of emotional intellect and cold, karmic structure. We spend our lives talking about remedies, trying to tweak our outcomes through rituals or intention.

But let’s be honest for a second.

If the planets show us a clear path—a script written by our past actions—are we actually changing anything when we try to steer the ship? Or are we just choosing how much we suffer while the inevitable plays out? It’s a question I come back to whenever I’m looking at a chart. We say we have agency, but then we look at the precision of a dasa shift and wonder if we’re just watching a movie we already starred in.

I’ve been tracking these transits on the Vyom app, and it makes the deterministic nature of it all feel way more mechanical. It’s comforting to think we’re in control, but maybe the real wisdom is just accepting the script.
