Why are we still obsessed with the exaltation of Jupiter?

Look at the current sky. We've got Jupiter sitting in Cancer, technically exalted. Everyone keeps saying this is a guaranteed win for wisdom and expansion. But let’s be real for a second.

Does an exalted planet actually behave if the rest of your chart is a mess? I see people constantly chasing these "gilded" placements while ignoring the harsh realities of a difficult Dasha or a neglected Saturn. It’s like buying a luxury car but refusing to pay for gas.
