Why we obsess over the Moon's state

Look at the sky today. The Moon is sitting in Chitra, right there at the tail end of Virgo. It's a restless energy, isn't it?

I’ve been watching the transits closely. With the Sun pushing into the first pada of Magha, we've got this sharp focus on ancestry and pride, but the Moon’s placement feels like a constant friction.

It’s interesting how we focus on these nakshatras as if they’re just boxes to check. We talk about the lunar mansions as static markers, but they aren't. They’re breathing.

I’m curious about something. Why do we insist on pinning our daily moods to these specific lunar degrees? We treat the Nakshatra as the absolute boss of our psychology. Is it actually freedom, or just another way to tell ourselves we don't have a choice in how we act?

When Mercury and Jupiter are sitting in Pushya and Ashlesha, we’re dealing with deep, watery intuition. But does that really dictate how you speak to your family today?

I don’t think we give ourselves enough credit for the agency we have outside of the charts. What do you think? Are we using these mansions to understand our paths, or are we using them to excuse why we’re feeling stuck?

Let’s be honest about the limitations here.

The Moon’s transit through Chitra reminds us that internal clarity often demands a lighter diet, so try warm, stewed apples with cinnamon to soothe your digestion. It’s an easy way to stay grounded while your mind reacts to the shifting tides of the lunar cycle.
