Why are we so obsessed with being 'fixed'?
I’ve been looking at the current sky, especially with Mars sitting strong in Ashwini. It’s got me thinking.
We spend so much time looking at our charts, hoping to fix some cosmic mistake or avoid a rough patch. But is the goal of Vedic astrology really just to patch up our lives?
I see so many people stressing over transits like Saturn in Revati, trying to predict exactly where their walls will crumble. It’s exhausting. We treat our charts like a punch list of things to mend before we can feel okay.
But shouldn't it be about understanding the rhythm of our family dynamics instead? When I track these movements, I’m not looking for a quick fix. I’m looking for how we can hold space for each other through the friction.
If we’re always waiting for the ‘perfect’ transit to start living, we’re missing the point. Life isn't a problem to be solved. It’s a mess to be lived through.
Do you ever feel like you’re using your chart as a crutch rather than a compass? I’m curious if anyone else feels this pressure to always be ‘improving.’
I use Vyom to keep track of these family patterns, but honestly, even the best tools won't change the fact that growth is often just learning to sit with the discomfort.
What’s your take? Are you chasing perfection, or are you just trying to breathe through the transit?
