Chaitra Navratri Approaches

April is moving fast. The skies are shifting, and we are almost at Chaitra Navratri.

Looking at the transits, we have the Sun wrapping up in Pisces, nearing the end of the cycle in Revati. It’s a quiet time, meant for reflection before the new year officially kicks off in the Vedic calendar.

I’ve always found this pre-festival window to be the best for house cleaning—not just the dust under the rug, but the mental clutter too. We’re preparing the space for the divine feminine energy to step in.

During these nine nights, I try to keep things simple. A few grains, some light meditation, and checking the Choghadiya through Vedkal to see when the best moments for prayer land.

Don’t overcomplicate it. The rituals exist to help us align our internal rhythm with the changing season, not to add another item to your to-do list.
