Why are we still obsessed with exalted planets?

Look at the current sky. We've got Jupiter sitting in Cancer, technically exalted. Everyone gets excited when they see that, assuming it’s a free pass for abundance and easy wins.

But let’s be real. Does an exalted planet actually make your life better, or does it just heighten the expectations you put on yourself?
