Why are we still fighting Rahu?

I’ve been sitting with the position of Rahu lately, and it’s bothering me. We’re taught to fear the shadow, to treat it like some cosmic error we need to fix. But think about it—if our souls actually crave the hunger that Rahu brings, why do we spend so much time trying to suppress it?

It’s not just an obsession with worldly desires. It’s a direct line to our unfinished business. When I look at a chart, I don't see a villain. I see a vacuum that pulls the rest of the planets toward the future. We talk about remedies like we’re hiding from a debt collector, yet we’re the ones who signed the contract before we were even born.

I wonder, what happens if we stop trying to pacify this energy and just let it burn? Does it consume us, or does it finally push us into the only work that actually matters?

I’ve been tracking these shifts in VedKal to see how the daily timing impacts this itch, and it’s rarely as simple as the textbooks claim.

Are you guys still running from your shadows, or have you started to lean into the chaos yet?
