Why does Mars in Aries feel like hitting a wall instead of moving forward?

I’ve been tracking the transit data for today, May 16, 2026. Mars is sitting in its own sign, Aries, specifically in Ashwini. Logically, this should be prime time for high-octane action. But if you’re like me, you’re feeling more like a car with a stuck parking brake.

It’s counterintuitive. You’d expect pure, raw energy. Instead, there’s this weird friction. I suspect the issue isn't a lack of drive, but rather a misalignment with the lunar position in Bharani. It’s heavy, constrained energy hitting a fast-moving trigger.

I’ve been logging my own productivity spikes using Vyom to see if there’s a pattern here. Every time Mars hits Ashwini, I get the urge to launch three new projects at once. Then, I burn out by lunch.

Are we misreading the 'strength' of a planet in its own house? Maybe we mistake intensity for efficiency. I’m starting to think that in Aries, Mars is just too impatient for its own good.

Has anyone else noticed that when planets get 'too comfortable' in their own signs, they actually become harder to manage? Or am I just looking for an excuse for my own lack of focus today? Let me know what your charts are showing for this week.
