Why keep ignoring the nodes?

I'm looking at the sky right now and seeing the Sun pressing against the final degrees of Leo, almost hitting that exact opposition with the nodes. It's an intense transit window. We spend so much time obsessed with the personal planets and the houses they're sitting in, but do we ever stop to consider the eclipses?

I’ve been tracking these movements on SkyToday to get a better sense of the timing. It’s hard to ignore how the nodes shift the narrative away from what we want and toward what we’re forced to confront. We treat them like background static, yet they represent a massive, calculated correction to our individual trajectories.

Here’s my question for the group: If the nodes represent a karmic debt, why do so many tropical astrologers treat them as optional? Why are we content analyzing Mercury’s movement through Leo while ignoring the fact that the nodes are effectively pruning our reality? It seems like a massive blind spot in our Western charts. Don't you think it’s time we treated these points with the same gravity we give to Saturn?
