Why are we still obsessed with the exaltation of planets?

Look at the current sky. Mars is pushing hard in Aries, and we’ve got Jupiter and Venus sitting in Cancer. It's a heavy, watery energy that feels like it’s pulling us inward.

But let’s be honest: we spend way too much time obsessing over whether a planet is exalted or debilitated. We treat exaltation like a gold star and debilitation like a jail sentence. I see people panic when they have a 'neech' planet, even though some of the most successful, driven people I know have 'weak' placements that actually forced them to work harder and build real grit.

A planet in its own sign is just comfortable. It’s sitting on the couch. A debilitated planet? That’s someone who’s starving and needs to fight for their survival. That’s where the real ambition comes from.

I’ve been checking these shifts daily on the Vyom app, and it’s clear the energy isn't just about where the planets are hanging out, but how we choose to move through it. If you’re leaning on a gemstone or a specific mantra to 'fix' a debilitated planet, you’re missing the point. You shouldn't be looking for a shortcut to make it act exalted. You should be looking for how to use that desperation to get things done.

Are we actually learning, or are we just using astrology to justify why we’re feeling stuck? Let’s talk about it. Do you really want a cozy, comfortable chart, or do you want the one that actually pushes you to move?
