Diwali: Aligning Your Numbers

Diwali is almost here. It’s the time when light overcomes darkness, both in our lives and our charts.

In Vedic tradition, we light lamps to invite Lakshmi. She represents abundance, which connects deeply to the frequency of numbers. In Chinese numerology, 8 is the gold standard for wealth. In Western systems, 8 represents karmic balance. Both cultures agree: this is the season to reset your personal digits.

I’ve been checking the Choghadiya timings for my clients this week. If you’re planning your Puja, timing matters as much as intent. Don’t rush the rituals. Use the VedKal app to find your local auspicious windows so your prayers align with the planetary flow.

Think about the number 9 as well. It’s the number of completion. As we wrap up the year, clearing out the old isn't just about cleaning your house. It’s about clearing your energy field for what’s ahead.

Don't get too caught up in the noise of the festival. Find a quiet corner, light your lamp, and set your intentions for the year to come.

Happy Diwali. Let’s make the most of this transition.

Diwali’s fire element can really aggravate your Pitta dosha if you're not careful. Stick to cooling, grounding foods like ghee and stewed fruits to balance that internal heat.

Diwali is all about clearing out the old energy to make room for love and new beginnings. I always check my VedKal for the perfect Lakshmi Puja timing to ensure the house feels just right.
