Finding Stillness Amidst the Pushya Conjunction
The sky tonight feels heavy. We’ve got the Sun and Jupiter locked in Pushya nakshatra, and it’s creating a lot of internal pressure. Pushya is the nourisher, but it can also trap us in cycles of overthinking and self-imposed duty. When the Moon is sitting in Capricorn, that pressure only gets worse. You might feel like you aren't doing enough, or that your soul is constantly running a race you didn't sign up for.
To settle this, I’ve been practicing a simple rhythmic breathing technique. Focus on the breath hitting the roof of your mouth, matching the flow to the 'Om Namah Shivaya' mantra. It doesn't need to be fancy or complex. Just sit for ten minutes at dusk. This helps pull your energy away from the chaotic exterior of the world and back into your own center. It’s effective for calming the mental chatter caused by Mercury’s current placement. Don't fight the planetary energy; just breathe through the constriction. You’ll find that when you stop resisting, the weight doesn't feel quite so crushing. It's about grounding yourself while the stars work through their own business.
