Is our free will just a delay in our karma?
I’ve been staring at the transit charts for June 27, 2026.
With Jupiter and Mercury sitting in Cancer and the Moon moving through Anuradha, the energy feels heavy with old patterns. It’s hard not to wonder: do we actually choose our path, or are we just watching a script play out?
People often ask me if they can change their destiny. I tell them that Vedic astrology isn’t a prison sentence. It’s more like a weather report. You don't choose the rain, but you choose the umbrella.
But here’s the rub—even the choice to pick up the umbrella feels programmed. Does our free will exist only within the margins of our karma? Or is every decision we make already baked into the degrees of these planets?
If the stars reflect our dharma, where’s the space for something truly new? I track these transits every day on Vyom, and sometimes I look at the precision of the math and feel like we’re just reading the fine print of a contract we signed before we were born.
What do you think? Are we driving the car, or are we just passengers with the illusion of control? I’m curious to see how you reconcile your personal choices with the cycles we can’t escape.
