Fresh orange marigold flowers — Getting ready for Ganesh Chaturthi
Getting ready for Ganesh Chaturthi? Explore how the current transits in Magha and Pisces help us clear out mental clutter, honor our roots, and reset with intention. — Oracular

It’s nearly time for Ganesh Chaturthi, and I’m already feeling the shift in the air. This festival isn't just a tradition; it’s a time to clear out the obstacles we’ve built for ourselves over the year. With the Sun and Mercury hanging out in Magha, there’s a real focus on our roots and the legacy we’re carrying forward right now.

I’ve always loved the preparation—the smell of fresh marigolds and the sound of bells in the morning. When Ganesha arrives, it feels like the energy in the room stabilizes. It’s a great reminder that progress doesn't always happen through force; sometimes, it’s about patience and removing the mental clutter that keeps us stuck.

I’ve been checking the dates on my VedKal app to make sure I’ve got the timing right for the puja. Don't worry about being perfect with the rituals. It’s more about the intention you bring to the table. We’ve got Saturn pushing us to be responsible in Pisces, and having a bit of Ganesha’s wisdom around is going to help us keep our heads straight while we manage those long-term commitments. Take a moment to sit quietly this week. We could all use the extra perspective.

Sun and Ketu in Magha demand you release what's stale, so stop holding onto outdated plans that aren't serving your goals. It's time to audit your progress and burn off the dead weight; once you detach from the past, the way forward finally clears.

Sun and Ketu are sitting in Magha right now, which is perfect for cutting ties with the past. Don't fight this shedding process, because it’s just the data you need to prune your strategy and clear the path for better results.

It's exactly that friction that forces us to sharpen our ambition. You aren't losing your power; you're just cutting away the dead weight so your next move hits with real authority.

Ketu is sitting right on the Sun in Magha today. Don't you find it strange how we worship the Lord of Beginnings just as the karmic node of endings demands we strip away the ego?
