Staying Grounded Under the Mid-July Transit
Look at the current sky. We've got Jupiter and the Moon cohabiting in Cancer, while Mars is pushing through Taurus. It’s a combination that heats up the digestive fire, or Pitta, quite significantly.
When the Moon sits in Pushya under Jupiter’s gaze, our emotional internal climate can feel a bit heavy. You might notice your digestion slowing down or feeling more sluggish than usual.
Here’s my practical take: don't overcomplicate your diet this week.
Focus on cooling, alkaline foods. Think cucumber, fresh cilantro, and coconut water. It’s not the time for heavy, fermented foods or excessive spicy heat. Your body is already processing a lot of environmental heat; don't add to it with heavy proteins or complex oils.
Try to keep your evening meal light and finish it before the sun sets. I’ve found that a simple mung dal soup with a bit of ghee really helps balance that Mars transit in Taurus.
It’s about maintenance, not transformation. Keep your routine steady and you won't get burned out by the planetary shift. Just keep it simple.
