Does the nakshatra matter more than the sign?

I’ve been staring at the transit data for July 9, 2026. Look at the Moon in Bharani and Jupiter sitting in Pushya. It makes me wonder why we’re so obsessed with zodiac signs in mainstream astrology when the real action is happening in the nakshatras.

Most people tell me they're a Gemini or a Cancer, but they don't know the first thing about the star they were born under. If you’re living by your Sun sign alone, you’re missing the actual energetic frequency of your life.

I’ve seen clients waste money on the wrong gemstones because they ignored their nakshatra's ruler. If your Moon is in Bharani, your needs are vastly different from someone with the Moon in Krittika, even if they share a sign. It’s practical, not abstract.

Why are we still teaching beginners that the sign is the destination? It’s just the container. The nakshatra is where the work happens.
